DragonflyOhG - Streaming Journey by Londen Wheeler

It has been three whole months since the start of my streaming journey. It has been one of the most consistent and enjoyable things in my life right now. Since I was 5 years old, I have been playing video games. One Christmas morning, my parents surprised me with a Pokemon Yellow edition Gameboy and a Pokemon Yellow game. At that time, I couldn't read yet, so I was playing for vibes. 20+ years later and I'm still going! I've played almost every single Pokemon game to release since the 90s.

In February of 2022, my friends finally persuaded me to play Fortnite after making several failed attempts over the years. My friends Richard, Nick, and Jon took me under their Fortnite wings and introduced me to the game. I played during the last two weeks of Chapter 3 Season 2 on my Nintendo Switch and, honestly, wasn't liking the game because of the build mechanics. Fast forward two weeks and Epic Games introduced Zero Build mode for Fortnite. Once that was introduced, I was having a lot more fun and loving the game! After a few months of playing on the Switch, I decided that I wanted to play more competitively and experience the game with a PC. So, my dad and I went to Micro Center and I bought all of the parts needed to build my very first PC! After a couple of days of building, I completed the task and booted up Fortnite for the first time. Since then, my gameplay has improved quickly and I am competing at a higher level than I was almost a year ago.

Since building that PC, I started to dabble in the idea of streaming. It's such a saturated market to get into but, it's a great way to connect and meet some amazing people. I have met some amazing people who I'm glad to call friends. We connect every week, we play together, and we stream together. Just amazing people.

@dragonflyohg The Shockwave Bow is really becoming my favorite item in the game! Was able to clutch the dub because of it. #fortnite #fortniteclips #blackcreator ♬ original sound - Dragonfly

Before I started my streaming journey, I created a Tik Tok page to post some of my clips. I had 3 clips go viral in the first week that I created my account. I was able to gain over 5,000 followers since creating that account, and apparently, I don't have an identity outside of Snoop Dogg. My followers love to call me Snoop for some reason. I look nothing like him!

If any of my supporters/followers ever read this post, I want to say, "thank you" for being there with me so far during this journey. Y'all have been so amazing and I couldn't do any of this without your support. I hope that I can continue to provide entertainment and mediocre gameplay!

In the meantime, I encourage everyone who is not following me currently to head over to my social media pages and drop a follow! I stream on Twitch every week as well and would love to have y'all join me!
